Story

An agnostic sex worker and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discovering whether their relationship survives their wildly different lives and family meddling. The original name was "Shiksa", which is also the last name in the first episode. I love it! I read the whole series in one day and I think it’s almost perfect. It’s like watching a good romantic comedy, but stretched out to a 10-episode series, which makes it even more satisfying. Kristen Bell and Adam Brody have the most amazing chemistry together. They are adorable and their bond feels genuine, their banter realistic. It’s rare to see a couple so believably together from the moment they’re on screen together. The way he looks at her gave me butterflies and I’m an ancient 45 year old woman who rarely feels that way when I watch anything anymore. I cannot recommend this program enough!
