Story

Need a lawyer? He runs his law practice out of his Lincoln and is ready to hit the gas. Moving through Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing a personal life that includes being a father and having two ex-wives.. Originally set to run with CBS for a 2020 series, it was canceled shortly before the first episode was filmed due to COVID. . This has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10 episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book “The Brass Verdict”.

Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms. California personalized plates allow a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight. Lincoln LawyerNetflix has adapted a novel called The Brass Verdict into a television show. It stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton from How I Met Your Mother, Neve Campbell from the Scream franchise, Christopher Gorham, Angus Sampson from the Insidious franchise, Jazz Raycole and Lana Parrilla from Once Upon a Time. In 2006, Michael Connelly published his first novel of six books, based on Mickey Haller. In 2011, Connelly’s first book The Lincoln Lawyer was adapted into a film.

Rulfo is charming and personable as Haller

Years later, in 2022, Netflix released a television show called The Lincoln Lawyer. This is based on the second book in the series, known as The Brass Verdict. After another lawyer mysteriously dies, Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) inherits all of his unfinished cases. In addition to having to learn his cases, he begins to investigate the sudden death of his colleague, while trying to repair his relationships in his private life. It’s not hard to see why The Lincoln Lawyer is so popular on Netflix. All the stories and lovable characters make the series intriguing to watch.

She’s a great supporting character

He makes the audience laugh, but also the court with his one-off games. He previously had problems with substance abuse, but has compassion for other people in similar situations, which leads him to hire Izzy Letts (Jazz Raycole) to be his driver. They care and hold each other accountable to ensure they both stay on track. Gorham gives a good performance as Trevor Elliott, a billionaire who plays the victim of his wife’s murder. Newton plays the positive and caring Lorna Crane, she is Haller’s secretary and friend. In addition, to all the people who help Haller, he hires private investigator Cisco.

Multiple storylines create interest in the series

Sampson works well with the team to ensure Haller’s success. In most episodes, there’s a smaller case that Haller has to win, but there’s also a big case that he has to solve along with other plot points. My verdict on The Lincoln Lawyer is that if you like legal dramas, you will love this show.
