A rushed, clumsy, lazy finale and a slap in the face to new and old fans alike
season is truly outstanding television, on a par with The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Audition, the best of the best. Season 7 dropped in quality but was still enjoyable, followed by Season 8 which was a blunder of epic proportions.
Still, nothing can take Game of Thrones 1-6 away
season’s wild, brilliant, emotional run that defined a decade and changed pop culture forever. I like to think it was canceled after season 6 and we’ll never see the real finale ;)
