Story
Series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross. Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to scrap its previously planned sequel, Double Cross.

I’d been looking forward to it since I first heard about it, so I had pretty high expectations. Well, this show not only met those expectations, but exceeded them in every way.
That movie was trashy, this show is fantastic
There was an Alex Cross movie released in 2012 starring Tyler Perry that was awful. Please don’t let this deter you from watching this, because they are different in every way.
Amazon has so much faith in this show that they have already renewed it for another season before the first episode has even aired
Another great adaptation for Amazon Prime, they have done an amazing job with their TV series adaptations (Reacher, Fallout, Lord of the Rings, Jack Ryan, The Boys, Bosch, The Wheel of Time, Daisy Jones and the Six, Good Omens, etc., etc.).
